Bulletin: Sunday September 28th

Ministry of the Week:  CrossWalk– a ministry for young adults

Pray:

· That the weekly meetings would provide spiritual growth and a foundation to make life decisions based on His Word.

· For the friendships that are built to be an encouragement to all who attend.

· For the leaders and music team to always be seeking God’s direction and guidance.

· For the development of a Rowan Bible Study for our group, that God will open the proper doors.

Atlantic City Rescue Mission:  Sat., Oct. 11

If you are interested in taking a ministry trip to the Rescue Mission in Atlantic City, please sign up at the Missions Table (by the drinking fountain) by 10/8.  The group meets at the church on Oct. 11 and leaves by 8:45 AM and usually return to the church around 2 pm.  Contact Jack Morocco, 609-221-9068, if you have questions.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast:

The next meeting for the Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 8AM in the FBC gym.  A delicious breakfast will be served.  Please help us by signing up at the Communications Table in the foyer by Oct. 1 if you plan to attend.  Invite a friend, and younger “men” are also welcomed!

AGAPE Mission Christmas Gift Collection

Every year AGAPE Mission Projects takes a truck load of Christmas gifts to the Appalachian area.  These gifts come from those who would like to share a blessing with those less fortunate.  If you would like to help, please contact Rich Fowle, 609-617-2178.  Gifts should be for children 12 and under and left unwrapped.  The truck will be going the end of Nov.  All donations should be given no later than Nov. 26.

Prayer Partners:  Jim & Robyn Kipp, Sonnie MacFarland, and Rob Krall

Today’s Services:

This morning Pastor Hal Russell will bring the message on “Sharing the Good News.”  Come back tonight as we begin the new Sunday night format of our “Prayer Gathering” praying for local outreach through the Harvest Crusade 08.

Ladies Bible Study Harvest Gathering

All women interested in attending a Wednesday morning Bible Study and Share-time are invited to a Harvest Gathering on October 8, 9:30 to 11:00AM in room 201. Come and enjoy a time of getting to know other women from our church family and be encouraged in your Spiritual journey.  We will plan to meet twice a month on Wednesday mornings here at the church. Baby sitting will be provided.

Help Needed for Moppets (MOPS Children’s Program):

Would you like to make a difference in the lives of mothers and children,
not only here in our church, but throughout our local community?  Moppets is a program for preschoolers to enjoy twice a month while their moms are attending MOPS meetings here at FBC.  MOPS reaches out to mothers of young children to encourage personal relationships and renewal, both
socially and spiritually. These meetings will begin September 18 and

continue every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 9:15-11:15AM.  We are appealing to teens and adults in our church who might prayerfully consider joining our team of helpers to assist the children in lessons, crafts, games, stories, and other activities.  If you or someone you know might be willing
to help, please contact Anna Perray:   w.cocibokin@yahoo.com or
(856) 223-9709 or indicate on your attendance card.

Harvest Crusade – Discipleship Training Meeting TODAY 9/28

We are encouraging everyone who is a part of Fellowship Bible Church to embrace the opportunity of the upcoming Harvest Crusade in October – to PRAY, PROMOTE, and PARTICIPATE. Please plan on not only inviting people to go, but bringing them with you. As the Lord graciously and supernaturally works, we want you to be ready. If you bring a friend, and that friend trusts in the Lord Jesus – then you should be the one to walk in a discipleship relationship with that “newborn”. Jesus makes it clear (Matt. 28:19) that discipleship is the fulfilling of His commission. We want to help you. Join Pastor Hal in a class designed to walk you through how to use a discipleship resource titled, Basic Truths for Believers. The class will be held on Sunday, September 28 at 4:30PM in Room 201 – 5 days prior to the crusade. Please sign up at the Communication Table if you plan to attend.

FBC Youth Ministries

A BIG THANK YOU to all who helped on the Parent Dinner on Sunday 9/12. The families that attended were served a great meal by their teens. Many hands worked hard to prepare, serve set-up, and clean-up and it was appreciated.

Harvest Crusade:  Youth planning to go to the Harvest Crusade and ride the bus from the church must sign up on the appropriate night’s sign up sheet at the Communication Table in the foyer. Bus leaves at 5:30 each night. You also need to turn in a completed permission slip (green form on the youth table) as well as an FBC Annual Medical form (purple form on the youth table). Put these completed forms in the youth box on the youth table.

Messengers (grades 7th & 8th) Video Scavenger Hunt:  Saturday, Oct. 18

Youth should meet at the church at 6pm and parents need to pick them up at 10pm. You need a complete permission slip, $3 and an FBC Annual Medical form (if you haven’t already turned it in) in the youth box by Oct. 12th. The forms are on the youth table.  We still need drivers for this very fun event!

Progressive Dinner:  We are in the process of planning a progressive dinner for December 6, for both Gen FX and Messengers separately.  Watch for permission slips to be coming soon. We still need 5 host homes and several drivers for this also very fun event!

If you are willing to help with these youth events, please contact Sylvia

     Kjellson at 856-241-2193 or skjellson@aol.com.

Don’t forget that Small Groups for both Messengers and Gen FX  meets Sunday nights at 6 pm in the loft and Youth Group meets for both groups on Wednesday nights at 7 pm in the loft.
